We’ve been scouring the globe (literally, but.. well… from our desktop) for a new cinema ticketing/website solution. And we’re drawing very close to finalising a whole new customer experience for you guys!
We’ll have memberships and discount options and ticket packs and a new flashy site and and and so much to offer you! We’re super excited about this.

2) POP THE FRICK UP!
Oh yes. Do we have some pop ups for you! We’ve been meeting and chatting and furrowing our brows in agreement and throwing our heads back laughing with lots of people from around Hobart!
Over the next few of months you’ll be seeing us pop in SORELL, CHIGWELL, GLENORCHY (with an outdoor screening) and our usual favourite place KINGSTON!

D) DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
We’ve been looking for a space to open a new cinema for a while. A long. Frikkin. While.
We’re excited to let you know that at the moment we are in talks with Architects and Access Consultants and City Planners and Surveryors and doing the whole kit and kaboodle for a new space that we’ve found.
Now, it won’t be what Rewind was. That was an incredible experience and a space in time that cannot be matched. It will be a cinema of a different kind. Rewind will stay in its “pop up/touring” experience and this new site will be a micro-cinema screening everything from cult classics, foreign films, romantic comedies and Golden Age gems. Think more Le Cin less Rewind.
In this way, Hobart gets two great options: a touring, fun filled, large seating, event cinema screening all your 80s and 90s classics with movie parties and dress up spectaculars in different locations around our town AND ALSO an intimate, 7 days a week cinema showing really cool stuff from every decade from all around the globe.

To say we’re excited about all this is an understatement. We hope you can be excited with us. Look forward to seeing you all soon. We’ve missed the Rewind community very, very much.
